Victory Medal 1914 - 1918

£7.00 - £14.00
This medal was issued to all who had received the 1914 or 1914-15 stars. It was also awarded, with some exceptions, to those awarded the British War Medal. The medal was designed to remove the exchange of medals amongst the allies. All of the allies issued a medal of the same basic deisgn, bearing the figure of victory on the obverse, Japan being the exception. All were suspended by the same ribbon. Some 6,000,000 were issued to British personnel.
