 Distinguished Service Medal |
The Distinguished Service Medal was originally instituted to reward NCOs and men for gallant and distinguished service performed at sea. Primarily a naval award it is open to all service for gallantry performed at sea. it has now been discontinued following the opening of the award of the DSC to all ranks.
