This quality arm is the ceremonial version of the British Infantry and Corps and Royal Marines - Officers sword (1897 pattern) and scabbard. It is crafted in accordance with the British MOD specifications.
In November 2005, WKC purchased the toolings of Wilkinson Sword Ltd.. for production of various ceremonial swords.

Blade:
A forged stainless steel blade; It is hardened to ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished. Both sides are etched: You choice of an Infantry pattern etch, Royal Engineers pattern etch, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers pattern etch or Signals Infantry pattern . The acid-etch is so deep, that one can feel it with a fingernail. Dimensions of the blade is ca. 825 mm x 6 x 25 mm.
